Healthy Self-Care Instruction & Discussion for Young Girls!

Ages 8 - 12

Title: Being a Girl - Salon Time Workshop

Workshop: 1 day sessions - (3 hours per session)

Time/Day: TBA

Salon Offering: hair style selection (2 colour braid 
                                     extensions, colour spray added to hair
                                     or a simple funky or classy girl style) 
                                     * girls must come with hair freshly 
                                     washed

Objective: To introduce girls to a positive experience 
                          of a support circle that addresses various girl
                          topics in a safe & fun group setting and
                          environment.

Group Size: min 4 to max 8 girls

Cost:   -          (Diva Parlour Club Members receive a 15% 
                            discount on this workshop offering)

This body image workshop includes one complimentary hairstyle for each registrant that will be provided during the ongoing workshop discussion.

Girls will discuss topics such as:

• Growth & self-care
• Female role models in their lives
• Transitioning from elementary school to middle school and then on to high school
• Growing up female

Age appropriate activities will be conducted and a group photo offered to participating registrants.
