You CAN be a Part of the Diva Parlour Too!
One-on-One Mentoring
The transition into a brand new school a new community, middle school, high school and then onto college or university is a very big step and can be an overwhelming experience for most young girls.
Thus we seek high school and college/university age students who are willing to mentor and remain a constant presence in a young girls life during a time that can be some what challenging and unstable for most young girls.
A mentors consistant presence and long term commitment could prove to make a huge impact on a young girls life, while they are participating in Diva Parlour workshops with their mentors or just hanging out at the centre to complete homework or to meet up to chat.
Trusting relationships with older girls who have been there before and can relate will help young girls to get through the many challenges and issues that they face on a daily basis.
"Behind the Scenes"
We require support of all kinds. By donating your time and professional knowledge to help empower women and girls or by volunteering to offer a specialized workshop on a hobby or passion that is near and dear to your heart (for example) "scrapbooking" to collect and preserve your cherished memories.

Volunteering
We have several programs that need volunteer assistance. If you are not local to the Toronto or IL area or you are unable to commit to on site mentoring/volunteering you can also volunteer virtually. You choose what you want to do and let us know when you are available to do it: once a week, once a month, or once in a while. Whatever your education, experience or income, there is an opportunity for you.
