Moms and Diva Tweens/Teens

Program: The True You Workshop

Workshop: 12 week "online" offering  
                (1.5 hours per session)
                 Location and Date TBA

Time/Day: Saturday mornings or Monday evening
                 Times to be announced based on 
                 registration interest and majority 
                 availability.

Objective: To encourage moms to play a more 
                active role in their daughters lives as 
                role models.
               
                To raise self-esteem by encouraging
                mothers and daughters to embrace their
                own inner and unique beauty.

                To empower mothers and daughters to 
                become stronger and more confident
                women together.

                To give mothers and daughters a peek 
                into each others worlds and to provide
                a mutual understanding and 
                awareness of their differences.

                To get daughters to show some of their
                computer phobia moms how to navigate
                around the internet, utilize online social
                networks/resources and become more
                computer friendly.

                To create mother and daughter Diva Girl
                Bonds that will last a lifetime and improve
                on your existing mother and daughter
                relationships.

Group Size: min of 4 mother/daughter pairs to a max
                of 8 pairs (16 total)

Cost: Free workshop (cost only to mail workbooks or
         any other associated products or  
         materials that you may purchase for the
         workshop from our Diva Store)

Materials: True You Workbook 
               (available for download) or can be
               mailed to your home for $3.50 USD/CDN
               * 1 Pen and writing pad each or a journal 
               from the DP Store.

Requirements: This workshop is a required
                      prerequisite to be able to participate
                      in any of our other mother/daughter
                      Diva workshop offerings and gives 
                      you an opportunity to get to know
                      us and our program style.                    

Classes fill up quickly so pre-register early to save your spot for a future workshop date to be announced.

Moms and daughters will discuss topics such as:

• Open communication
• The differences between you and me
• Living up to moms expectations for me
• Respecting my space
• Favorite magazines and media images
• What we dislike about ourselves and love about one another
• Goals, strengths, weaknesses, hopes and dreams
• Heath and wellness
• Dating
• Emergency connection codes
