8 Ways You Can Help Contribute to the Diva Parlour and Young Women and Girls Empowerment!

Raise Awareness!
Start an awareness campaign about an issue related to girls that is important to you and let us know about it so that we can track your campaign progress and encourage other girls to blog about it.

Back ‘us Up! Support our local and global community efforts to connect with organizations to create child and girl-friendly environments that are safe, interactive, private, parent-approved and without discrimination.

Talk the Talk and Walk the Walk! Avoid using gender stereotypes, sexist jokes, making negative comments, putting down your peers in front of their faces or behind their backs and encourage others to do the same.

Be a leader in your peer group, not just a “regular” everyday follower, anyone can do that but NOT Everyone can stand up and be a leader, show us YOU Can!

Mentor Your Younger Peers! show your younger sisters that it is ok to stand up for their rights, for themselves and what they believe in so long as they are respectful, stedfast, properly informed when doing so and are doing it at an appropriate time and in the appropriate place.

Show Some Love! Support your local communities, teachers, governments and local girl geared organizations in creating child and girl-friendly environments that are safe and without discrimination.

Don’t Forget! Think about childcare and other barriers to women’s participation when you are organizing events in your community and continually remind us to do the same and provide us with resource suggestions to do so.

Join Us! Get involved with the Diva Parlour and help us to further promote equality and empowerment of women and girls everywhere.
